This was a fun, light read. A trip around the main cities of Italy, this reads more like personal observations and thoughts from each city rather than an in-depth study, but it is also an excellent overview of these cities at a glance.
I am a fan of Carofiglio's detective novels, and it turns out I'm a fan of his other work as well.
