This was an excellent collection of stories, rendered even more interesting by the revelation, in the author's afterword, that the title story was at first rejected.
Regardless, I like all the stories. My favorites were probably Xin Chào, Xin Chào and Secret. The weakest was probably A Song from Afar.
Ok, I will also admit I'm not sure I understood the end of Secret, but I'd like to think I did.
